Couples & Relationship Therapy

You don't have to keep having the same conversation.

Even strong relationships can get stuck.

Maybe you keep having the same argument without resolving anything. Maybe one of you feels unheard while the other feels criticized or overwhelmed. Maybe you've grown distant, or you're trying to navigate a major change together.

Sometimes you love each other deeply and still don't know how to reach each other.

Couples therapy provides a space to slow down the cycle, understand what's happening beneath the conflict, and create a different way of relating.

Together, we'll work to understand the patterns between you—not to decide who is right or wrong, but to help both partners feel heard, understood, and more connected.

Areas of Focus

Communication & Conflict
Breaking repetitive cycles, reducing defensiveness, and creating space for both partners to feel heard.

Emotional Connection & Intimacy
Understanding what gets in the way of closeness and rebuilding a sense of safety and connection.

Boundaries & Relationship Patterns
Exploring attachment, people-pleasing, codependency, and the balance between maintaining connection and maintaining a sense of self.

Trust & Repair
Working through hurt, ruptures, and difficult experiences that have affected the relationship.

Life Transitions
Navigating changes in family, work, identity, caregiving, or other major transitions together.

My goal isn't simply to help you argue less.

It's to help you understand each other differently, communicate more openly, and build a relationship that feels safer, more connected, and more resilient.

Emotionally Focused Therapy is the modality I use with couples. Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) is an attachment-based approach that explores the emotional experiences and relational patterns that influence how we respond to ourselves and others. Therapy supports greater emotional awareness, deeper connection, and more secure patterns of relating.

You don't have to figure it out alone.
