I believe you deserve to feel deeply connected, grounded, and fulfilled in your life.
No matter where you are in your life, I believe there is always the possibility for change. Sometimes life experiences—grief, trauma, chronic stress, difficult relationships, or simply the pressure of trying to hold everything together—can leave us feeling disconnected from ourselves. We may find ourselves stuck in old patterns, overwhelmed by emotions, or unsure how to move forward.
My passion is meeting people in those moments—the moments when life feels heavy and change feels out of reach—and helping them reconnect with themselves in a way that creates lasting healing.
As a therapist of 15 years, I have learned that therapy is not simply about reducing symptoms or changing behaviors. It is about creating a deeper relationship with yourself—your thoughts, emotions, body, and experiences. It is about understanding the patterns that have shaped you, developing compassion for the parts of yourself that have worked so hard to protect you, and creating new ways of moving through life.
My hope is that therapy becomes a place where you feel supported enough to step out of survival mode, slow down, and begin listening to yourself with greater curiosity, compassion, and trust.
One of the greatest privileges of my work is witnessing someone reconnect with their own strength after carrying emotional pain for so long. Watching a person gain insight, experience relief, and begin living with more freedom and authenticity is what continues to inspire me every day.
My Journey: From Entertainment to Psychotherapy
Before becoming a therapist, I spent nearly a decade working in the entertainment industry. That chapter of my life gave me a firsthand understanding of the invisible pressures that can come with creative and high-achieving careers—the drive to succeed, the fear of falling behind, perfectionism, uncertainty, and the challenge of maintaining balance while pursuing meaningful goals.
One of the most important lessons I carried with me from that experience is that someone can appear successful, confident, and capable while quietly struggling beneath the surface.
That understanding continues to shape my work today. I especially enjoy working with professionals, creatives, artists, and entrepreneurs who are ready to set down the pressure of always having it together and explore what is happening underneath the surface in a safe, supportive, and confidential space.
At the same time, I welcome anyone who feels ready to better understand themselves, heal old patterns, and create a life that feels more aligned and fulfilling.
Professional Experience & Credentials
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT #85705) providing integrative, mind-body psychotherapy throughout California.
I earned my Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University Los Angeles in 2009 and completed my clinical training at the Antioch Counseling Center, serving communities throughout West Los Angeles, Venice, and Culver City. I have been practicing psychotherapy since 2010, and over the years my approach has continued to evolve through training, experience, and a deeper understanding of how the mind, body, and nervous system work together.
My work integrates evidence-based therapies with nervous-system-informed care, tailored to each person's unique needs.
My approach incorporates:
Somatic Therapy and Mindfulness Supporting a stronger connection between your body, emotions, and internal experience.
Trauma Resiliency Model (TRM) Helping develop nervous system regulation, resilience, and a greater sense of safety.
Psychodynamic Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Exploring longstanding patterns, beliefs, and experiences that may be shaping your life today.
In addition to my general practice, I have extensive experience working with adults experiencing eating disorders and body image concerns in both residential and intensive outpatient settings. This work has deepened my understanding of the complex relationship between identity, self-worth, emotional well-being, and our relationship with our bodies.
My Approach
I believe the relationship between therapist and client is one of the most important parts of the work we do together. Therapy is not just about the techniques we use—it is about feeling seen, understood, and safe enough to be honest.
I strive to bring warmth, authenticity, curiosity, and compassion into every session. And whenever possible, I bring humor too. Life can be incredibly heavy, and sometimes sharing a genuine laugh helps us reconnect with our humanity.
One of my favorite moments is when a client sits down and says, "I'm not really sure what to talk about this week—things are actually good."
My response is usually:
"Welcome to the good side of life."
Those sessions are just as meaningful as the difficult ones. Instead of waiting for the next crisis, we pause and notice what it feels like to be grounded, connected, and at ease. We help your mind and body recognize that calm, joy, and safety are not temporary accidents—they are experiences you can learn to trust and return to.
I want therapy to be more than a place where you work through pain. I want it to be a place where you reconnect with yourself, strengthen your resilience, and create a life that feels more authentic and fulfilling.
My role is not to tell you who to become. It is to help you uncover the parts of yourself that may have been buried beneath stress, expectations, and the demands of life.
A Little More About Me
Outside of the therapy room, you’ll usually find me outside whenever possible—on a trail, at a park, or somewhere near the ocean.
I love the moments that bring me back to a sense of play and curiosity: laughing until my stomach hurts with friends and family, enjoying outdoor concerts, cooking, playing piano, and spending time with my favorite four-legged sidekick, Jack, my Jack Russell mix. (Yes, his name really is Jack.)
Those moments of connection, joy, and presence are reminders of something I believe deeply: a meaningful life is not just built through achievement and accomplishment. It is built through the relationships we nurture, the experiences we savor, and the moments when we feel most like ourselves.
I look forward to working together and getting to know you.
